We are located in Michigan. But Jim was rased in elk township. He had attended Aura church that is how I found your site. He also attended Delsey R.High. He was rased but a Mr.& Mrs.Chambers. Her name was Anna. He would like to find anyone who would have any information about the people who raised him or his real father. We were told was a Holmes Compton or Burt Paridise. This was during World World War II. If any one has any info. on the Chamber family in the area please contact us. I belive her daughter may live in the same home as her mother use too but I am not sure. She is on Daisy Ave.Also He would like to know the pastor of Aura church at the present time so he can contact him and have flowers put on his foster mothers grave which is located at the church. Can anyone help us? Marsha

Wow! I really love this site! And I'm in love with Elk Township! My husband, Chris, just received a job transfer (from Chicago to Paulsboro), and we had the good fortune to find and buy a beautiful home on a breathtaking piece of property here in Monroeville. Your site has been an endless source of information for newcomers, and I am grateful. I'm also thankful for the warm, wonderful people I've met here so far in the few weeks we've lived here. I sincerely thank you from the bottom of my heart. We are excited to be here, and looking very forward to making this our "forever home." Also -- I am a teacher by trade, looking for summer employment (outdoors) at a nursery-garden center. Or maybe at one of the numerous orchards around here? I'm an avid gardener and would love to work at a garden center this summer. If anyone has any leads, I'd really appreciate an e-mail. Many thanks, especially for welcoming us so warmly into your community!
